Grace Young, a passionate snowboarder and lover of all things outdoors, spent countless hours carving down slopes and exploring snowy backcountry trails. Her thick balaclava hood kept her warm through the coldest days — until the mountain weather changed.

Temperatures would rise quickly, and what once felt cozy suddenly became stifling.

Stuffing the balaclava into her jacket pocket was the only option, but it made her jacket bulky and restricted her movement — especially while riding or jumping. That discomfort sparked a question: There has to be a better way.
